SPDG members, please join us for our next webinar on October 8 for a presentation on how to use Adobe Muse to create your own website. Our host will be Brian Wood from Adobe Inc., whom you might remember from our January meeting about Adobe Creative Cloud. Brian will be covering the basics of this exciting new tool and answering any questions you might have.
For those unfamiliar with Adobe Muse, here is a description from adobe.com:
If you are unable to make the webinar, don't worry! As always, we will be recording it for later viewing.
We hope to see you there!
SPDG members, please join us for our next webinar on August 13, from 12-1 pm Pacific Time. Michelle Fifis of Pattern Observer will be discussing why it is important for surface pattern designers to know how to create a collection and how to get started. If you've been wondering what makes a great collection and how to go about it, this webinar is for you!
But that's not all! Following up on what we learn in the webinar, our September meeting will be a design challenge to bring in a mini collection (or the beginnings of one) for a show and tell. It will be a great opportunity for you to get your feet wet with creating a collection, or for those of you who are more experienced, to get feedback in a supportive environment of your peers.
We hope you can make one or both of these events! Long distance members, no need to worry! We will be sharing our collections after the September meeting on our Google Groups. And, for those who cannot make the webinar time, we will be recording it so you can view later at your leisure.
