Lead Designer at Jimmy Hines
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Who do you design for and what is your style?
I design for fashion designers needing a coordinating complement to their clothing line, and also for interior designers looking for a twist of bold sophistication to light up a room. My style is both conceptual and freestyle happenstance. I focus on the single cell image composition then pattern and expand them into collages.
What inspires you?
Color, composition and searching for solid combinations of both.
What do you love about being a designer?
I love the ability to create a design from an idea or inspiration.
What else would you like us to know about you?
My professional career began in visual communications, graphic design and photojournalism producing magazines and newspapers. Now my path has moved into digital marketing while leaning into fine arts, gallery spaces and surface design. Scholastically, I hold a Bachelor degree in Studio Art and Sociology from Ball State University and an Associates in Arts degree from Houston Community College where I have also taught design and digital arts classes. Being born and raised a Hoosier, I ventured out to San Diego for 20 years to expand my life experiences before calling Houston my current home.
