Over on the blog the moon from my attic is an interesting interview with artist/designer Laura Foster Nicholson. Laura started her career as a fine artist creating woven tapestries and then expanded into the world of art licensing. She currently designs textiles for companies in the home furnishings market such as Crate & Barrel and Land of Nod and has her own line of ribbons. (How cool is that?!)
If you don't have time to read the entire interview, skip down towards the end where she gives a little advice about art licensing and working with manufacturers.
