Thursday is almost here! At our next meeting, on June 12th, a panel of four guests will give us the inside scoop on working as an in-house designer.
In the three previous posts we introduced Sarah York, Tara Faughn and Liz Okeeffe. This time we profile Julia Rosenberg.
Bay Area native, and compulsive lifelong doodler, Julia caught the surface pattern design bug early; she's loved pattern and color from a young age. Julia has a BA with highest honors in Studio Art from Oberlin College, as well as a certificate of completion from California School for Professional Fabric Design. She began her professional textile design career by freelancing for P&B Textiles. She went on to work for Pottery Barn. Julia says it's been a whirlwind with her current company, Williams-Sonoma, where she began as a temp, and was recently promoted to Senior Designer!
