Kevin Harris will be exhibiting his beautiful textile designs at NY NOW HANDMADE, August 20 through 23, Javits Center NYC. The show is open to retailers, and is a part of the NY NOW Home, Lifestyle and Gift show.
Kevin creates scarves, pillows and runners in silkscreen and shibori. He's branching out, and will also be exhibiting surface pattern design for licensing. Kevin's handmade textiles are available in museum stores, galleries and boutiques throughout the US. Visit Kevin at booth #9283; drop on by if you're in town!
Turkish retailer Vivense Home & Living has licensed several of Katja Ollendorff's designs for chairs, textiles and soft goods. The Vivense magazine cover even features a model decked out in a shibori-inspired pattern created by Katja, (though the store is strictly home dec.) Inside the magazine, Katja is featured in an interview comparing her style to that of Marimekko! Wow, heady stuff!
