After many years as an architect at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen Denmark and at the University of Pennsylvania, Solvejg now lets her "imagination run wild to enhance interior spaces." She is the surface pattern and product designer for her store called Trosko. She says the name of her store was inspired by a tiny island that she and her siblings would try to swim to near her childhood home in Sweden. The name evokes a feeling of the joy of the moment that summer memories bring to her. A feeling that definitely shines through in her wonderfully whimsical patterns and products.
