Our booth banners will feature member artwork. If you would like your work to be considered for use on the banners, here’s what to do:
(1) Each member may submit up to two separate pieces.
(2) Each piece should be submitted in full (preferably 17" x 22", no swatches) at 300 dpi. To do this, open your document in Photoshop and save it as a .pdf or .psd at 300 dpi.
One more note about how to label your files.
(1)Please label them Last_First_[name of piece]
(2) Please include your copyright notice on each, in a separate layer (to give us more options in creating the banners.)
(3) Please submit your work no later than May 1st.
[Due to booth size restraints, the steering committee will decide how many artwork pieces will be shown]
When your artwork is ready, you will find the link to the Surtex 2015 folder in the guild's forum pages (accessible only to guild members.)
You'll need to sign in with your Google account name to access the link if you're not already signed in, but once you sign in it will allow you into the folder. You may either drag your files into the folder or you may use the red button that says “New” and it will take you to File Upload. If you have trouble, you can e-mail your files to Jennifer Holbrook at firstname.lastname@example.org, and she'll put them in the folder for you.
Hope you're all having fun choosing which of your artworks to share in our Surtex booth!
We are also still welcoming donations for the booth this year.
