Designer at Lulet
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Who do you design for and what is your style?
My identical twin sister Michelle and I design colorful, sweet prints for children of all ages for art licensing and selling outright; our style is playful and happy, often featuring smiling animals. Clients include Old Navy, Timeless Treasures, Keka Case/Solid Line Products, Dynomighty, and Flagology. Check out more of our whimsical style at www.lulet.com! We are easy to work with and love to collaborate, so if you are a manufacturer, please don’t hesitate to send us a shout out!
What inspires you?
Anything and everything! Vintage pieces, found objects, Latin American folk art, traveling, old houses, stars, bugs, balloons, 1980's music—you name it!
What do you love about being a designer?
The freedom to try new things and make the world a little bit more colorful and beautiful... and that we can make something we are incredibly passionate about into a career. Our goal is to design prints and patterns that make people smile and create or bring back fond memories.
Where can you be found/what are you doing on your days off?
Exploring near and far! Depends how many days off we have :-). We are always up for San Francisco's Mission District and road trips to the coast, ghost towns, and oddball tourist attractions like a giant meteor crater.
